Reply to a message (of any kind) ASAP, even if most of the time it’s as simple as “I see this and am letting you know I’m on it.” You can go about things the exact same pace you would have anyway, but this one super easy reply puts your prospect/customer at ease because A) they know you got their message, and B) you’re on top of your stuff. Regardless of how they reach out, send them an email or text ASAP. It’ll take you 5 seconds, but it’ll go a long way.

Reciprocate the email style/etiquette of your prospect or customer. If they are proper and use perfect grammar, do the same. If they curse, curse back. If they use emojis and shorthand, use them right back. In other words, speak their language. You want your prospects and customers to feel like they're talking with a friend, or at least not a salesperson. Speaking their language will help you achieve this.
